Overview

We are recruiting a Community Housing Team Manager at Caerphilly County Borough Council.

Working hours: 37

Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time

Location: Penallta House / Home working / Working hours can be split between home and office depending on specific task requirements.

Team: Housing Services

We pay an attractive salary of £42,839 - £46,142 and offer access to training and development opportunities.

Responsibilities

This is an exciting opportunity to support the Community Housing Operations Manager in the development and delivery of a high-quality customer focused, innovative Community Housing Service. You will be responsible for ensuring an effective and responsive customer-focused service by resolving queries and complaints, providing accurate and timely advice, information, consent and support to facilitate the best possible outcome for the customer.

The successful candidate will lead, motivate and develop a Community Housing Team, having regard to good practice, statutory requirements and in accordance with service and corporate objectives.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • A Level 5 Housing qualification on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales. For example, HND in Housing.
  • The ability to manage services with empathy, tact and diplomacy, and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Extensive experience of working in frontline social housing management.
