Job description

Are you an experienced Healthcare Assistant looking for an opportunity to develop your clinical skills while making a real difference to patients within the community? We’re looking for a compassionate and motivated Band 3 Community Healthcare Assistant to join our Community Nursing service. You’ll work directly with patients in their own homes and residential care settings, delivering nursing care delegated by our registered nursing team. You’ll be trusted to organise and manage your delegated visits, working independently in the community while remaining supported by experienced District Nurses and Senior Nurses. You’ll also play an important role in observing patients, recognising changes in their condition and ensuring concerns are communicated promptly to the appropriate clinician. If you enjoy working with people, value variety and want a role where you can see the impact of the care you provide, this could be an excellent next step in your healthcare career. This role requires flexibility to work across a seven-day service. A current driving licence and access to a car during the working day are essential for this community-based role.
