Job summary

A community health organisation in Broadstairs is seeking passionate and skilled Band 3 Healthcare Assistants for the Thanet Community Nursing Teams. You will provide care to patients at home, supporting diverse needs from the elderly to those with disabilities. The role offers both full and part-time positions, with flexible working hours between 08:00 – 18:00, Monday–Sunday. Qualifications

• A QCF Level 3 qualification or equivalent level of experience.
• Functional skills at Level 2 in literacy and numeracy.
• Full UK/EU driving licence is required.
• Recent experience as a health care assistant.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients in their homes as part of local nursing teams.
• Monitor and report the quality of care to management.
• Work with elderly and terminally ill patients as part of a supportive team.

Skills

Ability to use IT systems and databases

Knowledge of up‑to‑date clinical practice

Education

QCF Level 3 qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)

Functional skills at Level 2 in English and Maths
