To manage and oversee the delivery of the WJTI and the Community Tennis Programme at theAllEnglandClub’s CommunitySports Venues – Raynes Park and Roehampton, as well as to work as aCommunityHead Coach at TheAll EnglandClub CommunitySportsvenues (Raynes Park and Roehampton)offering junior and adult coaching, schools work and social tennis.

Community Tennis Programme

Whatyou’llbe doing
  • Collaborate with the General Manager (AECCSG) to develop and deliver the Community Tennis Programme, focusing on participation.
  • Oversee schools programming, junior / adult sessions, disability tennis, and overall programme delivery.
  • Formalise lesson plans for all sessions at Raynes Park and Roehampton.
  • Lead weekly coaches’ meetings and support their professional development.
  • Communicate with parents on scheduling, tournaments, and development plans.
  • Represent AELTC / AECCSG positively and deliver coaching for juniors and adults, including holiday camps.
  • Support talent development and ensure safe play environments
WJTI
  • Work with the General Manager and WJTI Manager to oversee on-court delivery,programmeevolutionand safe play areas for all sessions.
  • Manage scheduling for schools, coaches, and weekend sessions.
  • Guide player pathways and oversee WJTI squads.
  • Co-chair coaches’ meetings andassistwith professional development.
  • Maintain strong parent communication and promote WJTI’s connection to the main Club.
  • Support talent developmentwith good knowledge of the competitive structure and awareness of standards for all ages
AELTC(SW19) Members’Junior Coaching Programme
  • Resourcingand scheduling coaches to deliver the AELTC Junior Members Coaching Programmeand ad hoc coaching requirements
  • Working with Club Tennis Manager todelivered desiredschedule and quality of programming.
Additional Duties
  • Schedule and staff tournaments; coordinate with the LTA for results. Ensure inclusion of players from both CTP and WJTI.
  • Support community events and liaise with various stakeholder groups across different events, including Tennis in the Park, Debenture Day, Set for Success, Mini Tennis Festival and Parent Tours.
  • Suggest improvements for tennis activities and junior pathways.
  • Adhere to health, safety, and child protection policies.
  • Be available foradditionalhours and events during The Championships.
  • Perform other duties as required by the General Manager.

The successful candidate must be capable of setting their ownhigh standardsand believe in the pursuit of excellence

Essential :
  • Strong interpersonal, networking, and influencing skills.
  • Positive, flexible, andsolution oriented.
  • Extensive experience in leisure or community sports facilities.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Passion for tennis; minimum Level 4 LTA coaching qualification (Senior Club Coach).
  • Must be comfortable with on court delivering sessions and the ability to administer a complex, multi-site program.
Desirable :
  • Experience managing coaching teams.
  • Experience in committee-led organizations.
Additional Information
  • Full DBS clearancerequired.
  • 40 hours / week with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and extended hours during major events such as The Championships.Typically, you willbe requiredto worka flexible five-day cycle between Monday and Sunday with an average of two days off in every seven, includingregularweekend and evening working.

  • TheAll England LawnTennis Club (AELTC) is a private members’ club,establishedin 1868, and organizes The Championships, Wimbledon.
  • Its Community Tennis Centre serves as the hub for the Wimbledon Junior Tennis Initiative (WJTI), Ball Boys and Girls training, and community tennis programs. The Centre and the Community Sports Centre in Roehampton provide weekly tennis sessions for around 700 children and 500 adults, supporting local schools and promoting inclusive participation.
