Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a GMC-registered General Practitioner to support community health and primary care services across St Agnes. The role offers flexible sessional work in community-focused GP environments, ideal for GPs experienced in managing varied clinical presentations and urgent patient demand.

You will run autonomous clinics, review routine cases, and contribute to triage workflows while maintaining safe prescribing and clear digital notes.

Qualifications

• GMC-registered General Practitioner (GP)
• NHS Performers List
• Experience in community, urgent care or primary care services
• Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in varied environments
• Valid indemnity and Enhanced DBS clearance

Responsibilities

• Running autonomous GP clinics within community health and primary care settings
• Managing acute, chronic and minor illness presentations
• Supporting urgent care demand through telephone triage
• Prescribing safely in line with clinical policies
• Completing routine clinical actions including results, follow-ups and referrals
• Documenting clear and accurate digital notes
