Spread a Smile seeks a proactive Community Fundraising Manager to lead the charity’s community fundraising across nurseries, schools, universities, faith groups, Rotary clubs, local businesses and sports clubs across the UK.

You will build new partnerships, secure ongoing income, and work closely with volunteers and club captains to turn connections into sustainable funding for seriously ill children and families.

Qualifications

• Around 3–6 years’ experience in a charity, ideally in a fundraising role.
• Experience of relationship-led fundraising: building, growing and stewarding relationships with supporters or partners.
• A track record of securing new supporters or partnerships and bringing in income against targets.
• Experience of community fundraising (e.g. schools, faith groups, Rotary and service clubs, local businesses or sports clubs).
• Experience of working in a small or medium-sized charity where everyone supports one another.
• Experience of delivering or supporting fundraising events.
• Experience of using a CRM system, such as Donorfy (or another way of managing and tracking supporter relationships).
