Job summary

Breast Cancer Now is seeking a community fundraising executive to support our fundraisers across London, the South and Wales. The role focuses on providing excellent stewardship, helping volunteers run events from bake sales to large charity balls, and ensuring a smooth day-to-day operation of the programme.

You will be the main contact for supporters and play a key part in delivering memorable donor experiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide stewardship to fundraisers organising events from bake sales to balls and sponsored walks.
• Be the first point of contact for supporters and help run the programme day-to-day.
• Nurture relationships with supporters to help them complete their fundraising plans.
• Assist with cheque presentations and attend events to energise and engage supporters.

Thousands of people in our communities are affected by breast cancer, and many of these are compelled to help by fundraising for Breast Cancer Now. Our community fundraising executives based in London, South and Wales are vital to giving our DIY fundraisers an incredible experience.

In this busy and exciting supporter-facing role, you'll provide stewardship to our brilliant fundraisers organising events from bake sales and balls to tractor runs and sponsored walks. And, alongside the other community fundraiser executives, you'll be the first point of contact for supporters, playing a key role in the smooth day to day running of the programme.

Through excellent relationship management, you'll inspire our supporters to see through their fundraising plans, raise as much as possible and continue to support the charity in a way that's right for them.

Having worked in a customer or supporter facing role before, you're naturally committed to providing exceptional stewardship. Engaging with our supporters will energise you, whether that's speaking to them over the phone, hosting a cheque presentation or attending an event.

You're organised and can prioritise your work well. You can also quickly pick up processes and have excellent administrative skills, all experience you've gained in a professional working environment.
