A leading charity for dementia support is seeking volunteers in the Pembrokeshire area to assist with community events and fundraising activities. Ideal candidates should enjoy engaging with the community, have a friendly demeanor, and possess a valid driving license for travel. This role offers a flexible way to contribute to a vital cause and support individuals affected by dementia.
Throughout the year we hold many exciting community events which help us to continue our work supporting everyone affected by dementia. By volunteering at these events you will be helping us to ensure that everyone who attends has a great experience and leaves feeling passionate about our cause.
You could help at a one-off event or choose to support at several events in your local area throughout the year.
You may be supporting fundraising activity at events, for example holding collection buckets or selling merchandise. You might be helping to raise awareness about dementia and our services, for example handing out flyers or you could be meeting and greeting attendees.
We're looking for someone to be available for cheque presentations, events and fundraisers on a casual basis within the Pembrokeshire area. Because of the geographic size of the county, some travel may be required, so a driving license is essential.
This volunteering opportunity will be on an ad hoc basis to fill the Society's needs.
