Job summary

Southern Hospice Group is seeking a Community Events Executive to deliver our programme of hospice-led fundraising events across Chestnut Tree House, St Barnabas House and Martlets Hospice. You will organise and deliver a range of events, aiming to maximise income, recruit participants and provide excellent supporter experiences.

About the role

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, organised and creative Community Events Executive to deliver our programme of hospice-led fundraising events to generate sustainable income across our three hospices Chestnut Tree House, St Barnabas House and Martlets Hospice.

You’ll be

You will play a key role in organising and delivering a range hospice-led events, helping to maximise income, recruit participants and provide excellent supporter experiences. You will combine strong event organisation and project management with a clear focus on fundraising, ensuring our events are delivered safely, professionally and cost-effectively whilst providing excellent stewardship to event participants to develop a stronger relationship with Southern Hospice Group.

Chestnut Tree House is the children’s hospice for East and West Sussex and South East Hampshire, providing specialist palliative care for children and young people with life‑limiting conditions.

Martlets provides essential care to people affected by terminal illness in Brighton and Hove and surrounding areas. Our expert teams provide the very best care and support, helping patients and their loved ones to live life to the full during the precious time they have together.
