A community-focused organization in Balsall Heath is seeking a Community Engagement & Wellbeing Worker to enhance the wellbeing of individuals and families. You will build strong relationships with local groups, plan engaging activities, and create an inclusive environment. The role requires excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as a proactive, reliable attitude. Join a supportive team and make a meaningful impact in the community. Community Engagement & Wellbeing Worker

Location: Balsall Heath
Hours: 21 hours per week (3 days)
Contract: Subject to 6‑month probationary review
Start date: ASAP

About the Role
  • Supporting the wellbeing of individuals and families within the community
  • Building strong relationships with local groups, organisations, and residents
  • Planning and delivering engagement activities, workshops, and outreach sessions
  • Signposting individuals to relevant services and resources
  • Helping to develop a welcoming, inclusive environment where people feel heard and supported
What We're Looking For
  • A warm, approachable communicator who enjoys working with diverse communities
  • Experience in community work, wellbeing support, or a related field
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently across three set days
  • Someone reliable, motivated, and ready to start as soon as possible
