Job summary

The Salvation Army’s Employment Plus service is recruiting an Employability Practitioner to support participants facing barriers to employment. You will work to assess needs, offer a range of tools, and help individuals move closer to sustainable work across South East Dorset, including Bournemouth, Christchurch, Poole, Weymouth and Dorchester.

You will build referrals with local charities, Jobcentres and community venues, source opportunities, and deliver tailored employability support.

Responsibilities

• Identify and nurture suitable job opportunities for unemployed individuals within the local community.
• Source referrals by building networks with charities, Jobcentre Plus and community venues.
• Deliver tailored employability support to individuals to move toward sustainable employment.
