Job summary

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (North Wales) is recruiting Band 5 Community Nurses for the District Nursing Service on a fixed-term maternity cover until 08 May 2027. The role involves delivering high-quality district nursing care to patients in their homes across North Wales.

Applicants should be registered nurses (or within 2 months of PIN) with knowledge of community care and the ability to supervise/assess practice. Welsh language skills are desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse or within 2 months of gaining PIN.
• Knowledge of Community Care.
• Practice supervisor/assessor.
• Desirable: Previous community experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinically effective care within the District Nurse Team.
• Travel between patients' homes in a timely manner.
• Welsh language ability is desirable.
