Role

Community Co-ordinator (12-Month Contract)

Agile City CIC operates Civic House and Glue Factory in North Glasgow, providing work and event space for social, cultural, and green enterprise.

The Community Coordinator role focuses on fostering a thriving community in our spaces. You will be responsible for building meaningful connections between members and leading our external communications—how we tell our story, communicate our impact, and share content about our services.

You will enjoy working independently, reporting to the Head of Events & Operations.

Responsibilities
  • Community Management & Operations
    • Manage all workspace enquiries, onboarding new members, and connecting them with relevant contacts.
    • Build connections by developing our program of community and networking events.
    • Act as the first point of contact, handling support requests with ease.
    • Maintain the welcoming and productive atmosphere of the spaces.
    • Manage the workspace booking system (Nexudus) and deliver finance reports.
    • Support event production across both buildings as needed.
  • Marketing & Communications
    • Lead our storytelling and impact communication.
    • Manage social media (Meta, LinkedIn) and publish the monthly newsletter.
    • Post regular blog articles to build reputation, share news, and drive traffic through SEO.
    • Monitor analytics to optimise marketing activity.
  • Studio Sales & Triage
    • Act as the first point of triage for Glue Factory studio enquiries.
    • Support achieving full occupancy and handle initial building tours.
Contract & Hours

32 hours over 4 days (8:30-17:30 with 1 hour lunch break)

£26,000 pro rata (salary calculated at 0.85 FTE)
