We are looking for an inspiring Community Centre Manager to lead the day-to-day operation of our busy community centre and help shape its future. Working closely with our Trustees, staff, volunteers and local partners, you will ensure the centre remains at the heart of the community by delivering an engaging programme of activities, developing partnerships and securing opportunities that strengthen the centre's long-term sustainability.
As Community Centre Manager, you will:
We’re looking for someone with experience in community development, community facility or centre management, ideally qualified to HNC level or above in Community Learning & Development, Community Education or a related discipline. You will be a confident, supportive leader with excellent communication and relationship-building skills, able to work effectively with trustees, volunteers, community groups, partners and local residents. You should be comfortable managing budgets, identifying funding opportunities, preparing successful grant applications and developing sustainable income streams. Well organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities, you will be passionate about strengthening communities, reducing inequalities and creating opportunities that improve people’s lives.
