A community support organization in Greater London seeks a Community Programme Assistant to facilitate activities for older individuals. This full-time role involves planning events, supporting volunteers, and enhancing community welfare. Candidates should have experience engaging with older or disabled individuals and possess strong communication skills. We’re looking for a Community Programme Assistant to help deliver meaningful, enjoyable experiences that truly enrich people’s lives. As part of our frontline team, you’ll support the delivery of daily activities such as chair-based exercise, discussion groups, card games, creative sessions, and social events. You’ll also help develop and deliver a programme of wider community activities. You’ll work closely with our Centre Managers, Community Hub Managers and volunteers to ensure our centres are safe, engaging, and inclusive environments. The role includes some evening and Sunday work, with Time off in lieu. This role is full time working 36.25 hours per week (Monday to Friday).
