Job summary

Harlequins are looking for Community Casual Coaches to support the club’s community rugby delivery across its community heartlands. You will deliver engaging, age-appropriate rugby sessions in partner schools for U7s to U18s, and coach on half-term, summer and residential camps, masterclasses and major events such as Big Game and Big Summer Kick Off.

The role reports to the Schools & Camps Manager and requires an England Rugby Coaching Award Level 2.

Qualifications

• England Rugby Coaching Award Level 2 is essential.
• RFU DBS certificate and first aid certificate are desirable.
• A sports-related degree is desirable and helpful.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, age-appropriate coaching sessions from U7 to U18 in partner schools.
• Coach on half-term, summer and residential camps and masterclasses.
• Support major rugby events such as Big Game and Big Summer Kick Off.
• Represent Harlequins positively in schools and communities.

About You

• An England Rugby Coaching Award (Level 2) (essential)
• A valid driving licence (desirable)
• An RFU DBS certificate (desirable)
• A first aid certificate and a sports-related degree (desirable)

Key Details

• Location: The Stoop, Twickenham, covering Surrey, Sussex, Hampshire, Greater London and Kent
• Contract: Freelance, temporary
• Pay: £25–£30 per hour for school delivery; £100 per day for camps and events
