A local government authority in the UK is seeking a Community Care Supervisor to coordinate Urgent Care calls and support a team for vulnerable individuals. The role requires experience in a care setting and an NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care. Responsibilities include managing referrals, supervising staff, and ensuring quality care. This position offers a comprehensive benefits package including annual leave and a pension scheme.
Post: 1 x Community Care Supervisor (Permanent)
Hours: 27.50 hours per week
Salary: Grade 7
Location: Brierley Hill Health and Social Care Centre or various locations across Dudley borough
Excellent opportunities have arisen to work within Assessment and Independence on Urgent Care Services and Dudley Short Term Assessment and Reablement team.
Your primary role will be to ensure the delivery of a high-quality Urgent Care duty team for vulnerable people in the Dudley borough. You will be working to cover the Out of Hours service from 5.00 p.m. to 10.30 p.m. Monday to Friday and will work some bank holidays, for which relevant enhancements will be paid.
You should have experience of working in a care setting and an NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent, or willing to work towards.

You may need to work flexibly, travelling across the Dudley borough and will therefore need to have the use of a vehicle.
