Job summary

Hartley Home Care in the community is seeking Care Assistants to join our team across the Bude, Holsworthy, Camelford and Launceston areas. You will help clients out of bed, provide personal care, and support with medications, shopping and meals.

We welcome applicants from hospitality or retail backgrounds and offer full training, progression to level 5 in Health and Social Care, and the Care Certificate. No sponsorship positions available.

Qualifications

• Be committed, caring and compassionate, and keen to provide professional, high-quality care.
• Be reliable and trustworthy with a commitment to customer care.
• Be able to work on your own initiative or as part of a team.
• NVQ/QCF/Diploma Level 2 qualification; if not, we can help you obtain this with our in-house trainers.

Responsibilities

• Help customers out of bed and provide personal care.
• Assist with medication, shopping, food and nutritional support.
• Provide day sitting and escort to appointments, or be there for a chat.
