At x+why we are on a mission to change the way the world works for good.

In short, we believe business should always be a force for good. So, let’s start by admitting that job adverts could be better. Way better. Be gone with long-winded adverts, complete with uninspiring lists of “responsibilities” and generic recruitment jargon.

Have a read below and if this sounds like a position you would like to be considered for, then we’d love you to apply!

The bit about us:

Founded in 2019, by 3 incredibly motivated entrepreneurs whose mission was clear - business should be a force for good. And by good we mean; we consider people and planet as well as profit. We are very proud to be a Certified B Corp!

We currently manage almost 400,000 sq ft of hospitality focused co-working, event, and exclusive Clubspaces for over 5000 members. We operate across the UK, with offices in London, Birmingham, Manchester, and Milton Keynes, with plans to launch more sites in 2025 (and beyond!).

The bit about the role:

This is a roll your sleeves up and get involved type role – with no two days being the same. Although based on our front desk, you will be free to roam and proactively assist across the site as needed. You will respond and action all email enquiries from current and prospective members, book meeting rooms, coordinate all member engagement events, manage stock/supplies and support the events team with external event bookings.

The bit about you:

As the first person our members engage with at our People's Mission Hall site, Whitechapel, you will understand what exceptional service looks like, and how to achieve that. Your positive and engaging nature is infectious, and everyone you interact with walks away a little bit happier.

You enjoy the buzz of a varied role that keeps you on your toes, and want to work for a company that will put your exceptional people skills to full use.

Why x+why?

We want you to enjoy coming to work every day. Even on Mondays.

To make sure of this we will provide you with a phenomenal environment - think inspiring design, cutting edge tech, stunning views, great coffee, and lots and lots of plants! Plus, you’ll be part of our hugely supportive, collaborative team, who although take their members’ experience very seriously, also want to have a lot of fun along the way.

What next?

Simply click on the Apply button below and upload your CV.

It is essential to us that you bring your authentic self to work every single day, no matter your age, ethnicity, religion, citizenship, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability status, caring responsibilities, neurodiversity, or otherwise.

All applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
