  • Guide and supervise and work directly with adults, families and liaise with external adult mental health providers and acute hospitals.
  • Participate in on‑call rota, frequency 1:50 with 3% basic salary Category A supplement.
  • Support peers and team leader, effective team member while allowing independent initiative.
  • Commit to collaborative working, actively supporting and liaising with other health and social professionals and agencies.

Recruitment details

We are recruiting to an Adult Consultant Psychiatrist position in the Havering Mental Wellness Team North (MHWT‑N), based at Petersfield Centre, Petersfield Avenue, Harold Hill, Romford (RM3 9PB). This is a new, substantive, full‑time role (10 PAs). We wish to recruit for this role as soon as possible. You will join another 1wte Consultant Psychiatrist, 1wte Specialty Doctor and 1wte CT1‑3 doctor within the service, and have the opportunity to influence future direction, treatment and models of care in the area in which you work.

Salary

£109,725 to £145,478 a year, pro rota.
