A municipal council in the UK is seeking a full-time Community & Administration Officer to support community initiatives and manage administration tasks. Candidates should possess strong public relations and organisational skills along with relevant experience in administration. The role requires working 37 hours a week and offers a starting salary of £26,403 per annum with a contract duration of 24 months.
Starting Salary: £26,403 per annum (SLCC scale 7 – 12)
Job Type: Full-time (37 hours). Fixed term contract for a period of twenty‑four months. There is a 6‑month probation period and a job evaluation will take place during this time.

Prestatyn Town Council are recruiting for a full‑time Community & Administration Officer to join our small team in the Nant Hall Road office (LL19 9LR). The Council is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and proactive person to take the Council forward to meet the challenges and opportunities within the local council sector.
The position will be office and community based for 37 hours per week, to help with day‑to‑day community‑based initiatives and general office administration.
Previous experience in an administration role or setting and events role or setting is required, along with a good level of education, a can‑do attitude, an organised and practical approach to problem solving, strong public relations skills, administration skills, good IT literacy and the ability to work well alone, unsupervised or as part of a team.
The ability to coordinate, manage and balance your workload under pressure and provide an outstanding service to the council and community is important. A driving licence and experience of working within the public sector would be beneficial.
