Role Overview:

Thirteen is on the lookout for a 12-month fixed term Communications Specialist tojoin our Communications and Marketing team. We’re looking for a highly talented communications expert to play a crucial role in our busy team, working across the business to cover elements of internal and external communications activity with our wide range of stakeholders.

As our Communications Specialist, you’ll play a key role in helping us deliver our business priorities. You’ll do this by creating high-quality communications that build trust, strengthen our reputation and deliver our key messages.

You’ll plan and deliver communications that:

  • Support our customers – helping people understand what we do and how we do it, building trust and improving satisfaction.
  • Engage our colleagues – keeping people informed and connected through meaningful internal communications.
  • Build our reputation – sharing our work and impact across the sector through clear, confident corporate communications.
About you

You’re a confident communicator who knows how to raise the profile of a strong brand. You’ve delivered strategic, high-quality communications that make an impact – and you’re ready to do more.

What you’ll bring
  • Proven experience in shaping and delivering successful campaigns – from customer communications to PR, social media and internal messaging
  • Strong writing and content skills – you know how to create clear, engaging content for different audiences and channels.
  • A calm, focused approach – you’re comfortable working to tight deadlines and managing competing priorities.
  • Flexibility to travel – you’ll have a full UK driving licence and be able to travel across the region when needed.
