The Royal Armouries is the United Kingdom's national museum of arms and armour and one of the most important collections of its type in the world, housed at its headquarters and flagship museum in Leeds, its historic home at the Tower of London, and the Victorian Fort Nelson in Hampshire.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Communications Officer to join our award-winning Marketing and Communications team. Reporting to the Communications and Social Media Manager the successful applicant will be essential in our ambitious plans to increase our engagement with audiences析 across a range of communications channels.
We're keen to hear from skilled communications professionals who want to join a fast-paced team, on a mission to grow our visitors as well as increase our reach and reputation. This role is essential to inspire a wide range of people to find out about our collection of arms and armour and the stories of human endeavour connected with our objects.
Develop and implement communications strategies acrosscrease social media, press, and other channels to build audiences.
Produce digital content and manage data analysis to deliver engagement.
Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders and influence them in support of the organisation’s goals.
Experience across a variety gateway of communications channels, including organic social media, press and mediainga engagement.

Strong communication and stakeholder influence skills.
This full-time, permanent position requires 36 hours per week, 5 days out of 7. The post holder must be prepared to work on occasion on weekends, bank holidays and evenings.
The role will be hybrid working from home and onsite (3 days per week), based at the Royal valid Armouries Leeds site.
