A large social housing association in Plymouth seeks a Communications Support professional to provide effective communications guidance and manage PR on a daily basis. This role requires creativity and the ability to work under pressure to deliver impactful communications. Ideal candidates should have solid experience in communications and public relations, focusing on crisis management and media relations. Flexible working options and attractive benefits are offered.
In this varied and demanding role, you will provide effective communications support to PCH, reporting to the Communications Manager and managing proactive and reactive PR on a daily basis.
You’ll need to deliver effective two‑way communications to a range of internal and external audiences using a variety of channels, and using your creativity to stand out from the crowd.
The successful candidate will need to be able to work under pressure, manage competing demands and meet tight deadlines, and be confident making informed decisions on communications issues which could have a significant impact on the business.
We are the city’s largest social housing association, with over 16,000 properties providing homes for more than 35,000 people, and we’re aiming to grow, to provide more people with high‑quality, affordable homes to rent and buy.
