Job description

As Communications Officer, you will work with the Communications Team to raise the profile of DHCW and contribute to the successful delivery of the communications strategy and communications plan. The post holder will be required to support both internal and external communications activities.

The ability to speak Welsh is essential for this post. As Communications Officer, you will:

• Monitor and manage the team's inbox and respond in a timely manner.
• Be adept at writing clear, engaging, and creative copy for all our channels with support from the team and make independent choices on the best communication channels to issue comms.
• Influence and persuade committees and staff on appropriate communication approaches.
• Prioritise work according to business objectives and the current narrative.
• Take a proactive approach to staying ahead of digital trends and technologies.
• Manage, maintain, and keep the stakeholder list up to date.

To work in the UK, all candidates who are not UK or Republic of Ireland (RoI) nationals require sponsorship to obtain either a Health and Care visa or Skilled Worker visa, unless you have permission to work via another route.
