QinetiQ is seeking a Communications Maintenance Engineer for our Portsmouth site to ensure the reliability of critical communication systems used in Harbour Acceptance Trials and maritime technology development.
You will configure and maintain GFX equipment under RFMS/UMMS guidelines, support trials with SME input, and perform thorough fault-finding and defect tracking to prevent downtime.

As a Communications Maintenance Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of critical communication systems, making a significant impact on the success of Harbour Acceptance Trials and contributing to the advancement of maritime technology.
Day-to-day, you’ll be responsible for the maintenance of all designated GFX Equipment to Harbour Acceptance Trial (HAT) standard including, IAW Unit Maintenance Management System (UMMS) and Non-UMMS maintenance.

This role is 37 hours per week based at our Portsmouth site with a minimum average site attendance of three days per week.
