Job description

Releaf Dispensary Ltd is a leading medical cannabis clinic committed to providing high-quality, safe, and effective cannabis-based treatments. Headquartered in the UK, we aim to enhance the quality of life for our patients through innovative solutions and outstanding patient service. We're a fast-growing team of passionate professionals on a mission to put patients back in control of their health journey. We've seen first‑hand how alternative treatments can change lives, and we're proud to be at the forefront of that change.

The Role

We're looking for a creative, detail‑oriented Communications Executive to join our busy, growing team. This is a remote‑first role, with occasional in‑person meetings. The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator with excellent writing skills and a flair for storytelling. You'll help shape how Releaf communicates with patients, journalists, and the wider public — bringing our brand to life across multiple channels. This is a busy, varied role where we'll provide full training and ongoing support, but you should be comfortable working independently and managing your own workflow. Ideally you'll have 2+ years experience from a healthcare, technology or B2C Ecomm role and be confident with working remotely.

Main Responsibilities
  • Draft and edit press releases, thought leadership articles, and case studies
  • Support the creation of patient stories and adapt them for use across media and digital channels
  • Create engaging email and SMS content in line with our tone of voice
  • Help to build and maintain media contact lists and relationships
  • Support PR activity, including researching angles, preparing reactive responses, and handling journalist requests
  • Report on communication outcomes with coverage reports and campaign overviews
  • Work with the team on internal communications to help align our fast‑growing team
Who We're Looking For
  • Strong writing and proofing skills, with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences
  • Experience in PR, journalism, or content marketing
  • Familiarity with email or CRM platforms (e.g. Klaviyo or similar)
  • Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple deadlines
  • A genuine interest in healthcare and patient‑centred communication
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
Why Releaf?
  • Be part of a fast‑growing healthtech company making a real difference in patients' lives
  • Work within a supportive, ambitious team where your contributions have immediate impact
  • Enjoy opportunities to learn, grow, and shape how we communicate with patients and the wider world
What We Offer
  • Private healthcare
  • Flexible working arrangements and remote‑first culture
  • Personalised training and development opportunities
  • Discounts on global brands through our employee rewards platform
  • Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)
