Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a Communications Apprentice to join the Infrastructure communications and marketing team. You will help create engaging content, support campaigns, manage media relations, and assist with internal communications.

The role involves site visits across the UK and offers hybrid working terms, starting January 2027. The apprenticeship is Level 4, with 40-hour weeks and a requirement for a full UK driving license due to travel to sites and offices.

Qualifications

• 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above including Maths and English.
• Willing to learn and be part of a high performing team.
• Strong written language skills and ability to create engaging content for different audiences.

Responsibilities

• Gather content to create compelling digital content for social media, blogs and case studies.
• Support creation and implementation of internal and external campaigns.
• Assist with media enquiries and draft news releases.
• Plan photography and filming shoots with internal and external teams.
• Support internal communications for colleagues via intranet and newsletters.
