Job summary

Sefton Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking a Corporate Communications & Marketing Lead to shape and deliver high-impact communications, campaigns and marketing across the authority. You will lead a team responsible for media relations, digital comms, campaigns and reputation management, working with senior leaders to tell the story of Sefton’s communities and investments.

Are you an experienced communications professional looking for your next leadership opportunity? Sefton Council is seeking a talented and creative Corporate Communications & Marketing Lead to help shape and deliver high-impact communications, campaigns and marketing activity across one of the Liverpool City Region's most ambitious local authorities.

In this exciting role, you'll lead a talented team responsible for media relations, digital communications, marketing campaigns, reputation management and audience engagement. Working closely with senior leaders and services across the Council, you'll provide expert advice, manage complex communications challenges and help tell the story of Sefton's communities, services and major investment projects.

We're looking for a confident communicator with strong strategic thinking, excellent leadership skills and experience delivering successful communications or marketing activity in a complex organisation.
