Communications Engineer (Airwaves / Tetra)

I am recruiting for a communication engineer to work within an emergency service response team covering support, engineering with communication devices on Airwaves / Tetra.

Experience
  • Work closely with external partners and third-party vendors, suppliers.
  • The role is responsible for the technical support of the Airwave radio service delivered to Control Rooms.
  • Experience with Voice Recording, Radio Frequency (RF), Tetra Systems, Radio Configuration and Testing.
  • Extensive experience delivering and supporting call handling and dispatch solutions in a safety critical environment.
  • Good experience of incident management, resolution, requests, changes and problem solving are delivered to agreed SLAs. Following ITIL processes.
  • Experience of developing and delivering end user training.
  • Experience in Asset Management.
  • ICCS Administration certified.

This is a permanent role based in London, onsite with a hybrid working model and expectations of at least two days a week in the office. Salary range is £55,000 - £65,000 plus benefits.
