About the Role

We're excited to be recruiting a dedicated Scheme Cleaner to join our busy and friendly frontline team. In this vital role, you'll help ensure our customers continue to receive an exceptional standard of service by keeping our independent living schemes clean, welcoming, and safe.

You'll be responsible for maintaining high levels of cleanliness in communal areas within our schemes across the Windsor and Slough area. Your attention to detail and pride in your work will make a real difference to our residents' everyday lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean communal areas to a consistently high standard, including entrances, corridors, lounges, stairwells, laundry rooms, and shared facilities.
  • Carry out routine and periodic cleaning tasks as directed (e.g., deep cleans, floor polishing, window cleaning, etc.).
  • Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed, including the correct use of cleaning products and equipment.
  • Use technology to document and record work, including uploading photos or completing online forms.
  • Report any issues or concerns (e.g., repairs needed, safety hazards) to the appropriate team or manager.
  • Interact professionally and respectfully with customers, colleagues, and visitors.
  • Travel between multiple schemes in the area, as required.
What We're Looking For
  • Previous cleaning experience (preferably in a residential or communal setting).
  • A passion for providing excellent service and a strong eye for detail.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile.
  • Basic IT skills or willingness to learn how to use mobile devices for reporting.
  • Flexibility to work across different locations within the Windsor and Slough area.
  • Awareness of and commitment to health & safety and COSHH guidelines.
