Job summary

A leading energy services provider is seeking a Fire Alarm & CCTV Engineer for a fixed-site role in Greater London. The engineer will focus on small works installations, responsible for the installation, commissioning, and testing of fire alarm systems. Candidates should have experience with fire alarm systems and strong knowledge of BS 5839-1 standards. An ECS/CSCS card is necessary. Competitive working hours from 07:00am to 15:00pm.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in installation & commissioning of fire alarm systems.
• Knowledge of BS 5839-1 standards is vital.
• ECS/CSCS card required for on-site work.

Responsibilities

• Install & commission fire alarms to BS 5839-1 standards.
• Modify and upgrade existing systems.
• Ensure documentation and handovers are completed.

Job description

We're currently looking for a Fire Alarm & CCTV Engineer for a fixed-site role at Harrods, focused on small works installations. You'll be responsible for the installation, commissioning, testing, and handover of fire alarm systems, with occasional CCTV work.

Key Responsibilities

• Install & commission fire alarms to BS 5839-1 standards
• Modify and upgrade existing systems
• Complete documentation and handovers
• Liaise with clients and internal teams
• Ensure work is completed on time and to spec
• Mark up drawings for design team

Requirements

• Experience with fire alarm systems installation & commissioning
• Strong knowledge of BS 5839-1
• ECS/CSCS card
• Excellent communication skills
• Sinteso/Desigo experience (preferred - training available)
• FIA Units & CCTV experience e desirable

Working Hours: 07:00am till 15:00pm
