Job summary

MWH Treatment Limited is seeking a Commissioning Manager for the Thames Water Region, delivering commissioning across the Water and Waste portfolio. The role reports to the Region Operations Manager and leads commissioning planning and execution with a dedicated team of engineers.

You will own commissioning through all project stages, drive safety, and optimize handover to the client, with hybrid working (80% on-site/office, 20% home) to suit project needs within the Thames region.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree (electrical, mechanical or process)
• Site experience in commissioning, preferably in water industry
• Electrical SAP qualification desirable but not required
• Previous experience as a commissioning manager within a process industry and similar size of company
• Experience managing commissioning teams

Responsibilities

• Resource management for projects in your remit
• Engage with Operations management to ensure safe and timely commissioning involvement
• Direct management of Senior Commissioning and Commissioning Engineers
• Provide input to commissioning plans and proposals
• Manage Process Safety procedures for on-site commissioning
• Collaborate with MWHT engineering team for design-for-commissioning
• Facilitate feedback of improvement information from commissioning
• Drive efficiencies and enforce change control procedures
• Monitor, measure and report performance and drive continuous improvement
• Develop and improve commissioning processes and systems
