Job Title: Commissioning Manager

Location: Woking, Surrey.

Salary / Benefits: £40k – £65k + Benefits

Water Treatment and HVAC Commissioning company with a track record for delivering quality, cost effective services to construction, commercial and public sector clients now seeks the services of an experienced Commissioning Manager to oversee lucrative projects across the South East. Candidates must have previous experience as an HVAC Commissioning Manager, and a track record in delivering projects to agreed standards and timescales. Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills needed as you will be overseeing a long-standing team of Commissioning Engineers and building strong working relationships with clients and witnessing companies.

Experience & Qualifications

• Hands‑on experience working for an established Commissioning / HVAC and Water Treatment company.
• Fully conversant in Health & Safety / CIBSE legislations in relation to Commissioning services.
• Will ideally hold CSA Grade 4 and above.
• Good management / supervision skills.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
• Good IT skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing various HVAC Commissioning projects across the South East; supporting clients and colleagues from inception to completion.
• Attending client start‑up and review meetings to discuss POWs and provide updates.
• Chairing daily staff meetings on site, outlining project requirements, delegating works and troubleshooting.
• Production of site specific RAMS and plans of work.
• Leading a team of Engineers with varying levels of experience, training new starters and providing technical advice.
• Ensuring internal systems are up to date and accurate.
• Producing and signing off site specific reports.
• Liaising with external contractors and witnessing companies.
• Preparing works for witnessing and working to agreed SLAs and client requirements.
• Inspecting materials used on site, ensuring they are meeting the correct standard of cleanliness and protection.
• Auditing of air handling units (AHUs).
• Ensuring work is carried out in line with Health & Safety / CIBSE guidelines.
