Job summary

Leo Lynch in London is seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to oversee the commissioning and start-up phases of our projects, ensuring mechanical systems are tested, validated, and fully operational.

The role requires strong leadership, an engineering degree, and proven track record on pharma/semiconductor/data centre projects; you will lead teams, manage safety and quality, and coordinate with clients and contractors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience as Commissioning Manager on pharmaceutical, biopharma, semiconductor, large commercial, or data centre projects.
  • Strong knowledge of commissioning processes, testing, and start-up.
  • Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, P&IDs, and system specifications.
  • Excellent project management, leadership and ability to deliver on time and within budget.
  • In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations, quality standards and industry best practices.
  • Strong communication skills with internal teams, clients and contractors.
  • Proficiency in commissioning software and MS Office Suite.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to oversee the commissioning and start-up phases of our projects, ensuring that all mechanical systems, equipment, and processes are tested, validated, and fully operational.
