A leading engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Commissioning Lead/Manager to oversee responsibilities in the Home Office phase of a significant EPC project. This role entails leading a dedicated team and managing key deliverables with a focus on ensuring all objectives align with design specifications. Candidates must have 15-20 years of oil and gas experience, with strong technical writing abilities. The position is based in the UK, and no substantial travel abroad is anticipated.
Our Client requires an experienced Commissioning Lead/Manager to lead the Home Office phase of the CPF EPC Project. This role will report directly to the Project Manager.
The Project covers the upstream development of Ratawi field. It is located about 70 km west of Basra. Project Phase 2 is the full field development of Ratawi field. It involves drilling of 221 wells feeding a new built CPF, to Client standards, with a targeted yearly production of 210 kbopd. The associated gas will be exported to GMP for commercialisation into the Iraqi commercial gas grid. The CPF shall be designed for 221 kbopd peak (210 kbopd yearly average with an availability of 95%) and include a water treatment for Produced Water Re-Injection (PWRI) into the developed reservoirs (Yamama and Mauddud). The water production and injection rates are both estimated around 350 kbwpd. The gas will be compressed and exported to the Gas Processing Plant (GPP) of the Gas Midstream Project, along with the condensate recovered from the gas compression. In turn, a centralised fuel gas and power plant is planned in the GPP to cover the needs of both Gas Upstream and GMP projects.
