Are you ready to make your mark on something brand new? We’re opening a 119-bed care home in Brunswick Park, London, and we’re looking for an exceptional Commissioning Home Manager to shape its future from day one. This is your chance to lead a home from pre-opening to full occupancy, create a thriving team, and set the standard for outstanding care.

Your role:

Put your stamp on something new as Commissioning Home Manager, you’ll take full ownership of the home’s success, driving everything from operations to culture. You’ll:

  • Lead the pre-opening phase and launch the home to full occupancy.
  • Develop and implement a targeted local marketing strategy to attract new residents.
  • Recruit, inspire, and develop a cohesive, values-led team, minimising reliance on agency staff.
  • Manage budgets effectively, balancing commercial success with the highest standards of care.
  • Oversee regulatory registration, HR, training, and governance systems.
  • Foster a warm, inclusive culture built around our five core values.

Contract

Salary: up to £90,000 per annum

Annual bonus: Earn up to 40% of salary

Extras: Private Medical Insurance, Pension and 5.6 weeks annual leave

Who we’re looking for:

We’re seeking a strong, experienced Home Manager, ideally with experience in larger homes (70 beds+) or multi-site operations. While prior commissioning experience is a bonus, your leadership, vision, and passion for care are what matter most.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a successful Home Manager.
  • Commercially astute, with a proven record of driving occupancy and focusing on private residents.
  • A deep passion for high-quality care and the ability to lead by example.
  • Excellent knowledge of regulatory compliance and governance.
  • Calm, collaborative leadership style with outstanding people skills.

Support you’ll receive:
You won’t be doing this alone. You’ll be fully supported by our experienced senior leadership team and a dedicated Commissioning team, who have successfully opened multiple care homes across the group. Together, you’ll ensure a smooth launch and long‑term success for the home.
