Job summary

Anglian Water Group Ltd. is looking for a Commissioning Engineer to join the Pan-Alliance Commissioning team across Milton Keynes and Bedford area projects, ensuring assets are tested, commissioned, and handed over to operations safely and efficiently.

You will work with design, delivery and operations colleagues, maintain commissioning documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement while developing your technical skills in water and wastewater infrastructure.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in commissioning, operations or maintenance (water/utilities preferred).
• Understanding of process control, instrumentation, or M&E systems.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to travel within 1.5 hours of location.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and execution of commissioning activities on site.
• Collaborate with design, delivery and operational teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Assist in site inspections, testing, and performance verification of new assets.
• Produce and maintain commissioning documentation, including method statements and risk assessments.
• Help resolve technical issues and optimise performance.
• Participate in site acceptance testing and engage with equipment suppliers.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and lessons learned.
