Office Owls Recruitment Limited is seeking a BEMS/BMS Commissioning Engineer to join a nationwide facilities and building services team across the UK. The role focuses on commissioning, testing and fault-finding BEMS/BMS systems in commercial and industrial projects.

You will work with Siemens, Tridium Niagara and Cylon platforms, perform comprehensive testing, and liaise with clients and project teams to ensure smooth handover and documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' BMS commissioning experience.
• Strong HVAC and controls knowledge.
• Experience with Siemens, Tridium Niagara and/or Cylon.
• Good understanding of BMS networking and communications.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Commission and test BEMS/BMS systems from installation through to handover.
• Carry out point-to-point, I/O and functional testing.
• Commission HVAC plant including AHUs, FCUs, boilers, chillers, pumps and VAV systems.
• Configure and fault-find BMS controllers and field devices.
• Work with Siemens, Tridium Niagara and Cylon platforms.
• Work with BACnet, Modbus and other BMS communication protocols.
• Review drawings, points lists and control strategies.
• Complete commissioning documentation and client handovers.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and project teams.

BEMS/ BMS Commissioning Engineer

Location: Midlands, Bristol, Swindon , Reading, Greater London
Salary: £55,000-£60,000 + vehicle/allowance, overtime & benefits
Type: Permanent

Our client is looking for an experienced BMS Commissioning Engineer to join their growing BEMS/BMS team. The role will involve commissioning, testing and fault-finding BEMS/BMS systems across a range of commercial and industrial projects.

This opportunity is with a well-established, nationwide facilities and building maintenance business, providing 24/7, 365-day support to commercial clients across the UK, and provides a comprehensive range of building services, including heating, plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, HVAC and air conditioning, allowing customers to manage multiple building services through a single specialist partner.

Key Responsibilities

Package

• Salary: £55,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience
