Job summary

Office Owls Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced BEMS/BMS Commissioning Engineer to join their nationwide team. The role focuses on commissioning, testing and fault-finding BEMS/BMS systems across commercial and industrial projects.

You will work with Siemens, Tridium Niagara and Cylon platforms, perform point-to-point testing, review drawings, and handover commissioning documentation to clients. A full UK driving licence and strong client-facing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' BMS commissioning experience.
• Strong HVAC and controls knowledge.
• Experience with Siemens, Tridium Niagara and/or Cylon.
• Good understanding of BMS networking and communications.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Able to read BMS schematics and control drawings.
• Good client-facing and communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Commission and test BEMS/BMS systems from installation through to handover.
• Carry out point-to-point, I/O and functional testing.
• Commission HVAC plant including AHUs, FCUs, boilers, chillers, pumps and VAV systems.
• Configure and fault-find BMS controllers and field devices.
• Work with Siemens, Tridium Niagara and Cylon platforms.
• Work with BACnet, Modbus and other BMS communication protocols.
• Review drawings, points lists and control strategies.
• Complete commissioning documentation and client handovers.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and project teams.

BEMS/ BMS Commissioning Engineer

Location: Midlands, Bristol, Swindon , Reading, Greater London
Salary: £55,000-£60,000 + vehicle/allowance, overtime & benefits
Type: Permanent

Our client is looking for an experienced BMS Commissioning Engineer to join their growing BEMS/BMS team. The role will involve commissioning, testing and fault-finding BEMS/BMS systems across a range of commercial and industrial projects.

This opportunity is with a well-established, nationwide facilities and building maintenance business, providing 24/7, 365-day support to commercial clients across the UK, and provides a comprehensive range of building services, including heating, plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, HVAC and air conditioning, allowing customers to manage multiple building services through a single specialist partner.

Key Responsibilities

Package

• Salary: £55,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience
