Samuel Frank Associates urgently requires a DV Cleared Commissioning Engineer with strong electrical, hardware, and controls experience for a 12-month Outside IR35 contract. This role is based in Staffordshire with travel to South of England sites.

Key Requirements

• DV Cleared Commissioning Engineer - must hold current DV level security clearance.
• British passport only (no dual nationality) - essential for DV clearance.
• Proven Commissioning Engineer experience in electrical systems, hardware, and controls.
• Controls engineering background - installation, integration, and commissioning of PLC hardware and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of variable speed drives, material handling systems, conveyors, or AGVs.
• Strong customer-facing skills - professional and reliable Commissioning Engineer.
• UK driving licence - essential.
• Degree-qualified or equivalent.

Role Details

• Phase 1: Prepare and write commissioning documentation (hybrid working from Staffordshire office).
• Phase 2: On-site testing and commissioning in Berkshire.
• Monday and Friday - work from home; other days office-based in Stafford.
• Office commutable from Stoke, Stafford, Cannock, Lichfield, Telford, Uttoxeter, Stone.
