A leading infrastructure services company in Warrington seeks a Commissioning Engineer to oversee the testing and commissioning of electrical systems. The role requires solid experience in E&I commissioning, knowledge of LV switchgear, and relevant qualifications such as an HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering. This position offers a hybrid working model and benefits like a company pension scheme and private health care.

Qualifications

• Experience in reading technical drawings and configuring protection devices.
• Ability to issue safety documents and write clear progress reports.
• Experience in following FAT and SAT processes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hands-on testing and commissioning of LV switchgear and electrical systems.
• Collaborate with other trades to ensure efficient commissioning.
• Ensure installations meet project specifications and safety standards.

Skills

Solid E&I commissioning experience

Background in Power, Energy and Gas Transmission

Hands-on with LV switchgear and MCCs

Full UK driving licence

Qualified in Inspection & Testing (2391-52)

Up to date with 18th Edition (2382-22)

LV authorised and experienced

Education

HNC/HND or degree in Electrical Engineering

Engineering apprenticeship or technical training
