Qualifications

• Strong experience in PLC programming and troubleshooting.
• Previous experience in the process industry is beneficial.
• ATEX knowledge is a plus, training provided if needed.

Commissioning Engineer (PLC & Controls)

Home Based - The role involves significant Worldwide Travel (Including USA & Asia).

£80,000 OTE (Basic + Overtime).

A leading engineering solutions provider is looking for an experienced Commissioning Engineer with a strong focus on electrical controls to join their team. This role involves hands‑on installation, commissioning, and support of control systems on customer sites across the UK and Europe.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and hand over control systems on‑site.
• Troubleshoot and resolve control‑related issues.
• Read and interpret FDS, SDS, and electrical schematics.
• Provide remote and on‑site technical support.
• Liaise with internal teams and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Produce clear documentation and reports.
