Job Description

A valuable opportunity has arisen to join a water treatment/water hygiene company that provides high-quality water treatment and commissioning services to a national client base. The company is currently recruiting for an experienced and multi-skilled Commissioning Engineer based in and around the Darlington area. The successful applicant will come from a strong commissioning background and will be experienced in carrying out equipment calibration duties as well as inspecting and balancing air and water systems on various site types. Consideration will be given to applications from Northallerton, Durham, Barnard Castle, Middlesborough and the surrounding areas.


Requisites


  • Good working knowledge of the BSRIA guidelines.

  • Considerable experience in balancing air and water systems.

  • Ability to analyse schematic drawings and survey reports in order to commission system correctly.

  • Strong water treatment, technical, chemical and maintenance background.

  • Efficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.

  • Well versed with the water treatment industry.

  • Experience working in a water treatment commissioning role within the water treatment industry essential.


Key Role Will Encompass


  • Commissioning air and water systems.

  • Calibrating equipment to accurately balance water systems.

  • Adhering with relevant Health & Safety legislation and company procedures.

  • Carrying out service work strictly and in accordance with the client’s specification.

  • Conducting training of staff as required.

  • Inspecting project installations as required.

  • Producing reports and preparing quotations.

  • Undertaking some water treatment duties to suit business requirements.

  • Liaising with clients on a regular basis – building and maintaining a good rapport.
