Job summary

ATA Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to travel to client sites across the UK from Retford. The role involves overseeing installations, making adjustments to equipment on production lines, and ensuring safety while working with a team.

You will engage with clients to maintain strong relationships and ensure project success. The ideal candidate holds an engineering qualification (preferably electrical) with manufacturing experience and proven installation/commissioning

Qualifications

• Must hold a recognised engineering qualification, ideally electrical.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong communicator comfortable with existing clients and new sites.
• Experience in installation and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Attend customer sites to oversee and participate in installation.
• Make adjustments to equipment on production lines.
• Work with a team to oversee ongoing work implementation.
• Oversee completion of work while ensuring safety procedures are followed.
• Work mechanically and electrically.
• Maintain client satisfaction in a customer-facing role.

Role: Commissioning Engineer

Location: Retford – Client sites across the UK

Hours: Days based

Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 inc Car allowance and OTE

They are currently looking for a commissioning engineer to join the business and be a key part of the high level of service that they can provide to their clients, Being involved with the customer. The Role

• Attending customer sites to oversee and be partly involved with the installation
• Making adjustments to equipment with new and existing production lines
• Working alongside a team and overseeing implementation of work ongoing
• Overseeing completion of working ensuring safety procedures are adhered to
• Working mechanically and electrically
• Ensuring client satisfaction and establishing a relationship being in a customer facing role

The Candidate

• Holds a recognised engineering qualification ideally electrical
• Has had experience working within a manufacturing environment
• A strong communicator who is comfortable working with existing clients and working on new sites
• Experience in installation and commissioning previously

What’s in it for you

• Annual salary of £50,000
• Company car or car allowance of (£5,000)
• OTE of £60,000 - £65,000
• Total Package of around - £70,000
• Days based position - travelling to existing and new client sites
• Flexi working hours depending on workload and client need
