Job Title: Commissioning Engineer
Location: Reading, Berkshire
Salary/Benefits: £28k – £55k + Training & Benefits

We are recruiting for a Commissioning Engineer to join a busy, well-established Commissioning specialist who have client contracts along the M4 corridor. They are ideally looking for a candidate who can hit the ground running and utilise their expertise to provide excellent and thorough technical services. The company is a well-regarded outfit who have a strong presence in the South East of England and an experienced workforce. Salaries are competitive and benefits include: overtime opportunities and the use of a company vehicle.

Client sites are based around: Reading, Bracknell, Camberley, Woking, Slough, Aldershot, Farnham, Basingstoke, Thatcham, Didcot, High Wycombe, Maidstone, Harrow, Wembley, Twickenham, Kingston upon Thames, Epsom, Sutton, Mitcham, Croywon, Redhill, Guildford, Andover, Winchester, Eastleigh, Hook, Cranleigh, Salisbury, Swindon.

Experience / Qualifications

• Strong experience undertaking the commissioning of HVAC, Water, Air systems
• Beneficial to hold CSA grades
• Excellent technical knowledge, including CIBSE guidelines
• Driven and hardworking attitude
• Good literacy and numeracy skills
• Comfortable using IT applications to complete reports

The Role

• Completing the commissioning of Water, Air and HVAC systems across a mix of construction, new build and fit out sites
• Completing commissioning reports and witnessing (if able to)
• Balancing of AHU, supply & extract, MVHR, closed heated/chilled systems
• Calibrating and maintaining site equipment
• Attending client sites to discuss requirements and to provide technical advice
• Pricing for works and issuing quotations to clients
• Working to agreed deadlines
• Travelling in line with company requirements
