Are you ready to take your career to the next level in STM publishing? We are excited to be partnering with a leading London based global academic publisher to recruit a Commissioning Editor to join their highly successful publishing team. As a Commissioning Editor you will play a pivotal role in shaping their prestigious suite of medical and health journals, and this is a fantastic opportunity to collaborate with leading experts in clinical research and drug development. This role will work on a hybrid basis with three days in the office and two days

You will be responsible for:
  • Commissioning high quality content - identifying and developing engaging articles that resonate with the organisation’s readership.
  • Developing a thorough understanding of key therapy areas and emerging topics in biomedical sciences.
  • Collaborating closely with authors, editorial boards, and key opinion leaders to foster relationships and enhance content quality.
  • Overseeing Editorial Processes by ensuring a smooth peer review and editorial decision-making process, that maintains their high standards.
  • Regularly assessing and reviewing processes to uphold industry-leading customer service.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in biomedical sciences publishing and who enjoys researching scientific literature. We are looking for:
