A local government authority in Nottinghamshire is seeking a Commissioning & Contracts Assistant to enhance their team. Are you highly organised with a passion for delivering excellent customer care? We're looking for a Contracts and Commissioning Assistant to join our team and support the delivery of specialist transport solutions for children, young people, and adults across Nottinghamshire.
You will support the commissioning of passenger transport service contracts for SEND (home to school), Mainstream (home to school) Adult Social Care and Ad Hoc transport requests. You will be preparing contracts and collating and analysing performance management data for the Transport and Travel Services Team. It is a busy team, managing 1,200 contracts and supporting commissioning for services with a value of £38 million.
You will have a high level of personal drive and commitment to excellent customer care; a high level of accuracy in recording and reporting financial details and operational issues; strong interpersonal skills to gain the agreement and acceptance of others including colleagues, senior managers and customers; ability to make decisions and solve problems to meet operational targets, involving devising solutions and procurement guidelines; ability to work as part of a team or independently as required.
