Job summary

Alexander House Hotel & Utopia Spa is seeking a Commis Chef (Pastry) to join a high-end kitchen team outside London. You will work with 16 chefs and 5 kitchen porters, covering breakfast, lunch and dinner with weekend shifts, gaining experience in a fresh food environment and contributing to award-winning pastry dishes.

You will be supported to learn rosette-standard dishes using local ingredients, with opportunities to grow within a luxury hotel group and enjoy hotel-wide staff benefits.

Qualifications

• Quality experience in a fresh food environment.
• Desire to gain experience and the passion for learning to create rosette standard dishes from fresh local ingredients.
• Ability to work flexible shifts. 40 hours per week over 5 days.
• Experience within a quality hotel kitchen environment.
• Team player with an ability and desire to contribute to the team’s success.

Up to £27,436.80 per annum + monthly service charge payment
