Job summary

A family-owned B Corp is seeking a Production Team member to join the Mix & Weigh team, responsible for mixing and weighing ingredients to uphold quality standards. Applicants should possess NVQ level 2 in catering and ideally have some experience in food manufacturing or kitchen environments. Sunday- Thursday 10pm – 6am

Location: Cook Kitchen – Sittingbourne

Pay: £13.60 per hour (including paid breaks) £28,288.00 per year

The Role
  • Mix weigh and measure ingredients, and products to ensure conformance to requirements
  • Follow recipes closely and do a final check to ensure the next department has all elements of the dish. Consistency is a must and therefore you must have a full understanding of our specifications.
  • Test samples of products to ensure compliance with specifications
Qualifications and Experience
  • NVQ level 2 (or equivalent) in catering.
  • Experience of working in food manufacturing, production would be an advantage.
  • Being able to work in a small team, communication is KEY.
  • Some experience working in a kitchen environment would be great.
